Hi Again,

One more question on how risk levels are determined and then when do we hear about it? James

Hi James,

Yep, it's seems like a serious scientific method, so here's the facts as I know them, as simple as possible!

County risk levels run on a two-week cycle. The first week is a movement week and the second week is a warning week. On movement weeks, data are updated on Monday and counties are notified of any change in risk level; changes go into effect on the Friday of a movement week. OHA continues to monitor these metrics during warning weeks, however, and provides an update on case counts, rates, and percent positivity.

Here's a link to more details if you'd like to dig deeper. This is today's numbers - 3.8.21
