A - Can I use vegetables I grow myself in the restaurant?



Q - Hello! Those look like some fine and robust carrots. You can grow your own vegetables but make sure you are a ‘reliable source’. This means that your growing area is free from things like chemical, sewer or animal contamination. As always, your inspector is a great resource for information or call our help line at (503) 988-3400 and ask for food safety desk.
